It’s important to note that a high price doesn’t always mean that the Rake property is best for you. Families often need more amenities than couples as the need to keep the kids entertained, fed and quiet often requires a little technological helping hand. But the best things in life are sometimes the opposite; a quiet spot of fishing in a stream, a walk through a delightful wood, or just a good meal.

The best cottages in the area are spotlessly clean, with great facilities and attentive owners eager to please their guests. Cottage owners and agencies have increased their standards quite significantly throughout the last decade. With very few exceptions there's no longer a chasm between what it says on the cottage website and the cottage itself!
